About Dr. Brienne Honan

Dr. Brienne Honan received her Bachelor’s of Science from Marquette University in 2008 with a focus on Speech Pathology and Audiology. She later earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in 2011. From there, she worked for a large Otolaryngology practice diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders for over eleven years.

Her passion for Audiology started in grade school after witnessing a classmate struggle academically and socially from hearing loss. From there it became apparent how important hearing was for communication and overall well-being. She continued her passion working as an Audiology Assistant at a private practice throughout high school and college. There she solidified her desire to serve the hard-of-hearing and dedicate her career to enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing disorders.

Dr. Honan believes that hearing connects us to people enabling us to communicate in a way that none of our other senses can achieve. She strives to keep her patient’s connected to the world around them by providing an individualized patient experience.

When she is not at Hearing Health Center, Dr. Honan is spending time with her husband and three children. She also loves to cook, travel, and read in her free time.
