Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Highland Park

Hearing Health Center is a privately-owned, independent Audiology practice with multiple locations in the Chicagoland area. We have been helping our community since 1984, and we are passionate about reconnecting people to the sounds of life. We offer the latest in hearing healthcare technology while providing the best experience for our patients. At the Hearing Health Center, we work closely with every major manufacturer, allowing our practice to be on the cutting edge of technology and advancement.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and is willing to go above and beyond for their teammates and the patients they serve.

The ideal candidate for the position will be driven, poised, articulate, and possess the strongest of communication skills.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Employ best practices to provide exceptional patient care
  • Manage all aspects of scheduling through the designated OMS
  • Facilitate patient communication via phone and effectively handle telephone inquiries
  • Greet patients immediately upon their arrival and provide excellent customer service
  • Keep front office and waiting area clean and organized
  • Maintain patient records
  • Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Associate Degree (or higher)
  • 2 years of front office experience, preferably in a medical retail environment
  • Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to work well independently and be detail-oriented
  • Excellent people and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Hearing Health Center has been an established independent practice since 1984 and has five audiology centers in the Chicago area.  Our mission is to provide the highest professional standard of care in the most personal and compassionate manner possible and to grow our ability to be of service.

We are looking for an Audiologist who will use their audiology skills to diagnose our patients correctly and have the people skills to persuade them to use the devices they need to maximize their hearing and improve their lives.  This will appeal to you if you are ambitious, have both people and technical skills, and want to work with a company that provides exceptional customer service.

This position provides audiological services, including consultation, diagnostic hearing tests, baseline hearing check-ups, tinnitus consultation and treatment, ear wax removal, hearing protection, and education to patients and their families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Masters or Doctorate in Audiology and an active Illinois dispensing license or be eligible for licensure. You must have good organizational and project skills. You should have a love of learning, strong leadership, communication, and sales skills.

A team player who is both collaborate and works well independently. A problem solver who listens and bonds well with people of all ages and levels. A self-starter who brings positive energy and a desire to see these are done right.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Doctoral degree in Audiology.
