Her career path was launched, she says, when she experienced hearing loss as a six-year-old child due to a medical issue.
“I was seen by my ENT and Audiologist quite frequently and soon became very good friends with them. I would come into the office and help greet patients and make them more comfortable. I also helped out with office duties. Ever since I was six I have always known I was going to be an ear doctor. Fast forward to junior year of high school where I was able to be a part of a child’s first time hearing with a cochlear implant at the University of Akron. It had such an impact on me watching the team of audiologists that I applied to the University of Akron’s audiology program and the rest is history!”
In her spare time, Dr. Jagasia loves spending time with her husband and two active children. She also enjoys travel and is an avid sports fan.
