About Dr. Akmaral Arman
Dr. Akmaral Arman has been immersed in the field of Audiology since age 15, when her family opened an audiology practice in her native country of Kazakhstan. Inspired by positive effects of hearing loss intervention observed in clinic, she then pursued formal training in the field. Dr. Arman completed her advanced level degree in pre-medical sciences at John Leggott College in United Kingdom, followed by a degree is Speech Language Hearing Sciences from University of Minnesota. She earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and was a recipient of the Outstanding Student Award. Her clinical fellowship was completed at Georgetown University Hospital Center in Washington DC, where she has received a thorough and vigorous training across the entire scope of Audiology practice.
Dr. Arman is a passionate clinician who believes in the importance of hearing well, which is evidenced by her commitment to providing excellent hearing health care. She enjoys supporting and educating patients, as well as graduate students and has a YouTube channel with educational videos on inner ear pathologies.
Outside of work. Dr. Arman is an avid hiker, a world traveler, and a weightlifter.
