Dear Dr. Maas,

Just wanted to relate to you how much I had been missing without my new hearing aid. This past Christmas my six year old Granddaughter gave me a bell (like the one in "Polar Express") and told me every time it rings I should think of her. I put it in my purse and said I would carry it with me all the time. I did keep it in my purse and over time, forgot about it.

I got my new hearing aid on a Friday and was to come back the following Wednesday. On Saturday, I noticed a chiming sound and couldn't figure where it was coming from! I could hear it every time I walked to my car. It then dawned on me! It was the bell in my purse! Only now, I could hear it! I did think of Julia a lot before, but not I have a reminder that I can hear.

I just wanted to expand on some of the comments I had made when I was in last week.

As I had mentioned, we had been dealing with another audiologist in the past for me and my children but we were never really satisfied with her. I was referred Hearing Health Center by the Lyric advertisements that I had seen and their website. As I mentioned my wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we came in for my initial visit.

We were first greeted by Laura, who I had first talked with over the phone and she was as pleasant and helpful in person as she was on the phone. I have found Laura to be helpful and pleasant every time. Her attitude of respect for the customer and willingness to help in every way is a refreshing change from what I normally see at other institutions, and I feel creates a competitive advantage for your organization.
When I first met with you about the Lyric hearing device you were very knowledgeable about the device and took the time to give us the information about the Lyric product and explain the program to us. You were also able to insert the devices in my ears that day so I could begin evaluating them. One of the things that really sets you apart from the other audiologist that we had gone to for many years is your knowledge of the different innovations in your field. I feel comfortable that when I am seeking advice from you on my options that you will provide me with all of the information that I need to make an informed decision, and that it is the latest and greatest technology available. This seems to me to be one of the core competencies of the organization, having a staff fully trained on the most recent breakthroughs in this technology.

I have to say that my experience with Hearing Health Centers so far, has been excellent and I believe it is attributed primarily to both you and Laura. It also seem that the organization has a strong commitment to excellence and that they give you the tools that you need to provide the best possible service to your customers.

Results of my test indicated that I had a loss is each ear and was a candidate for aids. No wonder, that as I aged, it became more and more stressful to function in certain settings.
